Your Local Neighbor, Your Trusted Scooper
Meet Amanda Bailey, Founder of Local Scoopers.

How Local Scoopers Got Started
I started Local Scoopers while helping my husband with his lawn care business. As we worked on properties around the Upstate, I kept noticing the same thing—people loved having a nice yard, but keeping up with pet waste was always the part that got pushed aside.
Between work, family, and everything else going on, it just wasn’t something most homeowners had time for.
That’s when it clicked. I realized I could build a simple, reliable service that takes that task off people’s plates and gives them back a clean yard they can actually enjoy. Local Scoopers was built to do exactly that—help busy families reclaim their time and their outdoor space without the hassle.
Meet the Pack (The Inspiration)
I don't just pick up pet waste; I’m a dog mom who understands the different needs of every pet. Our home is managed by two very special dogs:
Rodney: My 10-year-old Beagle/Chihuahua mix. He’s the senior who loves a clean, quiet yard for his naps.

Maverick: My Hound/Great Pyrenees mix. He’s a big, happy puppy who reminds me every day why a clean yard is essential for a growing dog’s health!

Proudly Upstate
I grew up in the Greer area and have lived in Mauldin for over a decade. Being a local business owner isn't just about service; it’s about community. There is nothing better than seeing our customers—our neighbors—finally able to step outside and enjoy their backyards again.
When you hire Local Scoopers, you aren't just getting a service; you’re getting a neighbor who cares about the cleanliness and safety of your home.
